Police says finding missing Cork woman is their absolute priority

Scottish Police say it is their absolute priority to find missing Cork woman Karen Buckley who disappeared in Glasgow in the early hours of Sunday morning. The police force's air support unit, marine policing underwater unit, specialist crime division and search dogs are involved in the search for the 24 year old Cork woman. Extensive searches are continuing in and around the house where she was reportedly last seen and around Daws Home Park where her handbag was found. In a statement this afternoon Detective Superintendent Jim Kerr says a team of specialist search officers are involved while patrols have also been stepped up in the west end, and two other areas. He's also urged anyone with information to come forward. Speaking to RedFM News Irish Examiner reporter Joe Leogue who is in Glasgow says there's a sad feeling around the city.
