Port of Cork Says The Development Of Home And Retail Space At Tivoli Docks Is On Track

Container traffic at the docks is due to be relocated to the new deep water quays in Ringaskiddy by 2020


The Port of Cork says the development of new homes, offices and retail space at Tivoli docks is on track. 

The project has received the backing of the Ireland Strategic Investment Fund, who will assist the Port in the redevelopment of the 180 acre site. 

Container traffic at the docks is expected to be relocated to the new deep water quays in Ringaskiddy by 2020. 

The Irish Examiner reports that the plans for Tivoli docks include 4,000 housing units, office blocks, shops and a railway station.
