Port of Cork To Continue To Block Access To Cobh Deepwater Quay While Cruise Liners Are Berthing
It's after talks between the port and locals over access to the Five Foot Way broke down.
Locals are unhappy that Port of Cork will not recognise a public right of way on the quay and have vowed to step up their campaign to prevent security barriers being put up
The Echo reports that residents prevented Port of Cork staff from putting up barriers as the Marina cruise liner docked on Sunday.
