Positive news on the Jobs front as Lidl opens new store in Cork

There is some positive news on the jobs front in West Cork today.

Supermarket giant Lidl has announced they will be opening a new store in Bantry, creating up to 20 permanent jobs.

They are currently beginning the tender process, and construction on the project is due to commence in the coming weeks.

The supermarket chain expects the new store will be worth in the excess of €6 million euro to the local economy, and will be their 20th store in Cork County.
