Post Mortem Due Following Scuba Diving Accident

A post mortem will be carried out on the body of a man who died in a scuba diving accident yesterday evening.
The incident happened shortly before 6pm when two snorkelers got into difficulty in Ardmore in County Waterford.
Emergency services were alerted, and crew from the Coast Guard Rescue helicopter airlifted the men to safety.
One of the men, a man in his late 30s, was transferred to Waterford University Hospital where he later died.
The other man was uninjured.
A post mortem is expected to take place later this morning.
