President Michael D. Higgins To Attend Liam Miller Tribute Match
Áras an Uachtaran has confirmed that President Michael D. Higgins will attend the Liam Miller Tribute Match
The organisers of the game have welcomed the confirmation and say it will add hugely to the occasion.
The game between the Manchester United Legends team and a Glasgow Celtic/ Republic of Ireland selection will be held at Pairc Ui Chaoimh on the 25th of this month.
Over 45,000 tickets have been sold for the tribute match for the former Republic of Ireland, Cork City and Manchester United player who lost his battle with cancer in February aged 36
