Pressure mounting on Director General of HSE to step down

Calls have been made for Tony O'Brien to stand down over the Cervical Check Controversy.

Sinn Fein are hopeful of cross party support on a Dail motion of no confidence in the Director General of the HSE.

Yesterday it emerged that Mr O'Brien will finish with the Health Service Executive four weeks earlier than expected, due to annual leave entitlement.

Louise O' Reilly is Sinn Fein's Health Spokesperson.
