Pressure mounting on Health Minister to legalise medicinal cannabis

The mother of a baby who suffers up to 20 seizures a day says there may be obstacles ahead in her fight to access medicinal cannabis for her son.
Noreen O' Neill who is from Kerry but lives in the city says her 20 month old son Michael needs to be treated with THC to stop his seizures.
She says Michael has been successfully treated with CBD oil since January, however he started to suffer seizures in the last week prompting his mother to call for the legalisation of medicinal cannabis.
An online petition set up by Noreen calling on Health Minister Simon Harris to legalise the use of medicinal cannabis has almost 6000 signatures.
Speaking to RedFM News she says it needs to be legalised for her son's sake.
