Two men were shot dead by French commandos after taking a group hostage near Rouen


A priest has been killed by two men armed with knives in a church in northern France.

It's understood the elderly man's throat was cut while he was saying mass.

Two men were shot dead by French commandos  after taking a group hostage near the city of Rouen  in Normandy. 

Another man's in a critical condition, and is said to be hovering between life and death.

Anti terror Judges are to investigate the attack

The French president is on his way to the scene
