Priest shortage sees four parishes asked to share priests
Four Cork parishes have been asked to share priests due to a shortage of priests.
The Clogheen/kerry Pike parish are now sharing ministry and resources with Farranree, Gurranabraher and Knocknaheeny/Hollyhill
The Echo reports that the move follows the retirement of Archdeacon Liam O'Driscoll as administrator of teh Clogheen/Kerry Pike parish
The Diocese doesn't have enough priests to replace each retiring priest and this shared arrangement is seen as a "solution to the pastroal needs" of the parishes in the area
