Probe Into Damaged Defibrillator In Mallow On St Patrick's Night

Gardai are investigating after a defibrillator was damaged in Mallow on St Patrick's night...
Mallow Search and Rescue say CCTV footage picked up five youths who were walking over the bridge shortly after 8.30am when one of them doubled back and punched the case housing the life saving equipment
The case has since been repaired and reinforced with stainless steel however this marks the second time that the unit has been damaged
The defbrillator which was located on Patrick Street in the city centre, at the back of Penneys, had to be moved inside the store, after it was vandalised seven times
Speaking on the Neil Prendeville Show on Cork's RedFM Dave O'Donoghue paramedic from Mallow Search and Rescue says the incident in Mallow is now in the hands of the gardai
