Protest at Kinsale Road Accommodation Centre

Workers at the Kinsale Road Accommodation Centre have taken to the picket line as they say they're being threatened by some of the residents. The workers have signed a confidentiality clause but Red FM News has learned that the difficultly is around the departure of a site manager who claims he was being intimidated by some residents and has received no support from his employer. Agency workers have been drafted in to ensure that meals are still served to residents and ensure that there is minimum disruption at the centre. The workers who are all members of SIPTU claim that they have raised the issues in the past with Aramark but the problems remain unresolved. SIPTU's Jerry Brown who represents the workers outlined his role to Red FM News. Click PLAY button to hear.
