Protest staged outside City Hall
The anti-water charges protesters are calling on the resignation of some city officials.
A group of around 70 anti-water charges campaigners gathered outside City Hall calling for the resignation of the Lord Mayor and the Deputy Lord Mayor.
The call comes after both city officals refused to accept a petition with 15,000 signatures calling for the boycott of Irish Water collected by the People's Convention.
The Lord Mayor says she believes her office should not be involved in any political movement - and says other arrangements had been put in place to allow the petition to be delivered to City Hall.
Speaking to RedFm News, Diarmuid O'Cadhla of the People's Convention says they hope the Lord Mayor will represent the people by accepting the petition.
