Protests To Take Place In Cork Over Cuts At Bus Eireann

Protesters will take to the streets of Cork today against proposed cuts at Bus Eireann.
The rally will take place between 1pm and 2pm at the Cork University Hospital and Wilton Shopping Centre crossing.
Organisers say the Government have a duty to reassure people across the city and county that services will not be discontinued.
The row centres Bus Eireann's plans to implement cost saving measures, including payroll, which it says it has to do if it's to remain in business.
It comes as Unions at Bus Eireann agreed to postpone strike action on Monday following a request by the Workplace Relations Commission to engage in new talks.
Speaking to RedFM News Sinn Fein MEP Liadh Ni Riada says it is essential that people stand in solidarity with bus drivers, and with those who rely on Bus Eireann on a daily basis:
