PSNI uncover major firearms and munitions hide in Armagh
A major dissident republican firearms and munitions hide has been uncovered in Co. Armagh.
A number of hides were found during a two day search operation in a wooded area in Lurgan.
Bomb parts, improvised timers, a rocket booster and semi-automatic shotgun were among some of the items recovered.
The railway line between Portadown and Lisburn remains closed as the PSNI deals with a fully constructed bomb.
Detective Superintendent Karen Baxter says the discovery has saved lives:
