Public Meeting This Evening As Concerns About Private Car Ban On Patrick Street Continue To Mount

The new measure has been met with stiff opposition from traders who say business has been negatively affected
Cars are prohibited from the city's main street between 3pm and 6.30pm,
Traders have pledged to take further action if the ban isn't reversed however the City Council says the ban, which is designed to improve public transport, needs more time to work.
Speaking to RedFM News Denis Stanton of Gentlemen's Quarters on Patrick Street says he believes the ban hasn't been thought out properly:
