Publicans Want Sale Of Alcohol In Off-Licences Banned For Several Weeks To Allow Pubs To Reopen

Pubs will not reopen on Monday, following a recommendation by the National Public Health Emergency Team.

Cabinet will meet later to consider giving Gardaí new powers to shut down pubs on the spot for breaching Covid-19 rules.
