Cork City has achieved Purple Flag Success
The application which was submitted in July involved the collaboration and commitment of over forty city centre stakeholders and traders working to achieve this outcome.
It also involved an assessment undertaken by two representatives from the Purple Flag Academy Programme which focused on a review of the evening and night time offering between the hours of 5pm to 5am under the theme areas of Wellbeing, Movement, Appeal, Place and Policy..
