Questions raised over turnaround time for social housing units

It follows a report which shows a 66 week delay in Cork County.
Cork Simon says a new system needs to be put in place to track the turnaround progess of social housing units for new tenants.
The comments comes as new figures show that in Cork County it takes an average of 66 weeks to turn social housing units around and get them ready for new tenants after they've been vacated.
Thousands of people are on social housing waiting lists across the city and county and Cork Simon say the issue of homelessness in the city is on the rise.
The charity for the homeless say they are not surprised by the figures in the report but that it shouldn't take that length of time.
Speaking to RedFM News, Cork Simon's Paul Sheehan says he isn't sure what is causing the delay.
