Queues Outside New Kinsale Housing Estate Sparks Concern For Housing Market

A number of people camped overnight to purchase a new home at Kinsale Manor
A Cork auctioneer says the Government needs to keep a close eye on the housing market to prevent a repeat of the past.
It follows reports of lengthy queues of potential buyers outside a new estate in Kinsale which launched its showhouses last weekend.
Demand is continuing to outstrip supply across Cork and as a result house prices are rising.
Speaking to RedFM News auctioneer Jeremy Murphy says the mindset of the buyer has changed since the Celtic Tiger era but government intervention is needed to prevent panic purchasing:
