Rain causing rush hour traffic delays
Motorist are being urged to take care on the Cork roads this morning. Heavy rain has left a lot of surface water on several routes. In particular there's a lot of excess water on the N71 between Bandon and Clonakilty , on the N20 between Mallow and the City and along the M8 at J17 Watergrasshill. There's also a lot of water on the North Ring Road at Ballyvolane heading towards Silversprings
