Rainfall Alert Issued Across Country
A rainfall alert is in place for parts of the country tonight - with Ulster and North Leinster set to be worst affected. Over 30 millimeters of rain is expected to fall up until midnight tonight. Last night thunder and lightening storms caused flooding and power outages in many parts of the country, including parts of Midleton which were badly hit with some property damage.
