Raise in Rent Supplement in Cork
The Government has approved an increase in rent supplement and housing assistance payments, which will see Cork residents receive an increase of 21%.
The measure will will come into effect this Friday and will help with the increasing costs of rent Leeside.
The move has been welcomed by Sinn Féin but the party says they want to see rent certainty alongside the measure.
