That's according to one UCC student who was speaking out to RedFM News about the issue of sexual assault
"Rape humour" is common amongst the male population in college.
That's according to one UCC student who says that nearly every woman she knows has had either a minor or a major encounter with sexual assault on a student night out, and she says she has frequently encountered her male counterparts joking about rape.
It's follows a recent report on sexual assault treatment units, including one here in Cork, which found that services are under pressure and demand for the service is increasing.
The report also highlighted a spike in presentations around popular college nights out including Freshers Week and Rag Week.
However speaking to RedFM News these UCC Students says it's not fair to tar all male college goers
