Rapid HIV Tests Taking Place in Cork Today
A Rapid HIV test is simple, takes one minute and can save lives.
That's the message from the Cork Sexual Health Centre who will be providing free rapid HIV testing today to mark World Aids Day.
Last year there were 485 new diagnoses of HIV in Ireland.
Rapid HIV testing takes place this evening at the Sexual Health Centre between 9 and 5pm, and at Chambers Bar between 6 and 9pm.
Speaking to RedFM news Deirdre Seery from The Cork Sexual Health Centre says stigma should not act as a barrier to testing services:
