It follows the most recent terror attack in Manchester which claimed the lives of 22 people
It's been confirmed to RedFM News that gardaí are monitoring some individuals in Cork in relation to terrorist activity.
It follows the most recent terror attack where 22 people were killed and 59 others injured after a suicide bomber attacked an Ariana Grandé concert in Manchester on Monday night.
A special unit has been put in place in Angelsea Street to monitor terrorist activity and speaking to RedFM News Lord Mayor Cllr Des Cahill says the system that's in place is robust:
