Renewed calls for construction of apartment style buildings in the city

Concerns have been expressed that the shortage of accommodation will deter companies from locating in Cork with many firms already reporting difficulties in securing accommodation to attract talent.
The situation is expected to worsen as the population grows, it's predicted the population will rise by 125,000 by 2040.
Speaking to RedFM News Conor Healy of Cork Chamber of Commerce says more needs to be done in 2020 to ensure the city remains an attractive location for businesses to locate:
