Rent Caps Extended To Four Cork Towns
There's been a broad welcome to the news that the new system of rent caps has been extended to four towns in Cork.
Housing Minister Simon Coveney signed the orders yesterday afternoon after recommendations from the rental sector watchdog.
The towns in Cork added to the system are Ballincollig, Carrigaline, Douglas and Passage West
It means rent can only be raised by a maximum of 4% a year in those areas, at the time of its next review.
