Report Into Burial Practices At Bessborough To Be Brought Before Cabinet This Morning

It's expected to focus on burial arrangements made for the 470 children and 10 women who died at the mother and baby home between 1934 and 1953
The fifth interim report from the Mother and Baby Homes Commission was received by Children's Minister Katherine Zappone last month.
The minister said the Mother and Baby Homes Commission had carried out 'initial testing' at the Bessborough plot and told the Dáil that further excavations will take place if necessary.
