Reports That The Justice Minister Threatened To Resign Are 'Fake News' According To The Taoiseach
After a disagreement between Fine Gael and the Independent Alliance there had been reports Charlie Flanagan had threatened to resign over the appointment of judges.
Shane Ross was unhappy with the appointment of a former Fine Gael Minister as President of the Court of Appeal and had threatened to block future appointments.
But Leo Varadkar said the decision was taken by the government as a whole, including Shane Ross:
