Repossession cases on the rise

It comes after new figures show a significant increase in the number ordered.
New figures show a dramatic rise in the number of repossession orders granted in Irish courts.
Leeside the number granted by Cork Circuit Court in the first three months of this year has increased by 833% on the first three months of 2014.
There were seventy-five repossession orders granted by the Court in the first three months of this year compared to nine in the first three months of 2014
According to today's Irish Times five hundred and eighty-six repossession orders were granted nationwide in January, February and March with more than one in eight being granted by Cork Circuit Court.
Speaking to RedFM News Regina Bayler of Threshold's Tenancy Protection Service says anyone who is facing repossession or homelessness should contact them.
