Republican Group Saoradh Say Cork Easter Sunday March Could Not Be Cancelled

Saoradh say a march in Cork on Easter Sunday could not be cancelled.

The republican group have been criticised after they marched up Bandon road in military uniforms just days after the killing of Lyra McKee.

Up to 20 members held the march to commemorate the anniversary of the 1916 Easter Rising.

The Echo reports that a spokesperson for Saoradh Munster said the parade had taken months to organise and was not something that would have been cancelled.
