Researchers in Cork are looking for volunteers to take part in a new study involving broccoli...

Atlantia Food Clinical Trials want to investigate whether concentrated doses of the vegetable can lower blood glucose levels and reduce the risk of diabetes.
They're looking for 40 volunteers to take part in the 9 month study.
Candidates must be 18 to 70, have a BMI of between 20 and 40 and have a raised blood glucose level.
Atlantia is also recruiting over 2,000 people for food studies including memory/cognition and muscle repair/recovery.
