Residents in Mallow housing estate continue water meter blockade

Residents in a Mallow housing estate have formed a blockade at the entrance to their park again this morning blocking access to Irish Water workers. More than 20 Woodview Drive residents are protesting against the installation of water meters in their estate and have vowed to continue their efforts for as long as it takes. The residents have been actively taking part in the no to water charges campaign with many travelling to Dublin for national anti water charges protests. Speaking to RedFM News this morning resident Thomas Kiley says support for the cause has been overwhelming. Click the PLAY button to hear.
