Residents near UCC object to new student accommodation

Residents living near UCC are objecting to proposed plans for new student accommodation.
The Horgan's Buildings and Surrounding Area Residents Association are lodging the objection with the city council against the development on Dorgan's and Magazine Road.
The Evening Echo reports that planning permission has been sought for seven terraced houses by Cork company - Mideam Ltd.
Residents say anti social behaviour, lack of parking and noise at night are the main reasons behind the objection.
