Residents Of The Leeside Apartments Are To Meet This Evening

They will be discussing the next step in their campaign to stay in their homes.
The RTB upheld eviction notices issued by the landlord Lugus Capital on Saturday, despite claims by residents that refurbishment work could be carried out without evictions.
The plight of residents at the complex was highlighted at an Oireachtas Housing Comittee meeting earlier this month.
UN Special Rapporteur on Adequate Housing Leilani Farha said the situation at the city centre complex seems to indicate that the government is not sufficiently regulating the private housing market.
Speaking to RedFM News, Deputy Mick Barry says many Leeside Residents have not been able to find alternative accommodation:
