Residents raise concerns of insurance hikes following boundary extension

There's concern that people living at the edge of the city boundary will see their car insurance premiums soar.

That's according to Cork North East TD Aindrias Moynihan, who raised the issue as part of a special Dáil debate on motor insurance premiums last week.

The boundary extension will see areas including Blarney, Ballincollig, Douglas, Frankfield, Rochestown and Tower become part of the city.

Speaking to RedFM News, Deputy Aindrias Moynihan says residents are worried.
