Retailers continue to struggle
Many small retailers in the county are still struggling to stay afloat. Recent figures show a drop in sales with furniture, lighting, clothing and footwear the hardest hit. Cork County Council has launched the Beacon Initiative - which is aimed at helping businesses in a number of practical ways. Paul Murray is PRO of the Chamber of Commerce in Charleville.
