Retention Of Seanad Looks Promising

After a morning of tallies it seems the country has voted to retain the Seanad. With the majority of constituencies declared, the No vote has come in at 52 per cent. Here In Cork there has been a yes and no from two constituencies. Cork South Central has voted No while Cork North Central has voted Yes. Meanwhile, counting is also underway in the referendum to establish a court of appeal - but we won't have proper indications from that until after the Seanad ballot papers are officially counted.
