Retirement age may be increased in future
Longer working lives are going to be a reality for people.
That's according to the Public Expenditure Minister who says retirement age may need to be increased...
A report launched by the Minister shows that Ireland needs to prepare for population aging and that a cultural shift is needed with regards to retirement age.
There's no clear recommendations in the report - just promises that different departments will further look into the issue.
Minister Paschal Donohoe says there's a number of reasons people are working longer.
