Review into Cork 999 call to be completed in two months

The official review into the handling of an emergency call involving a young child who died in Cork is expected to be completed within two months. The head of the National Ambulance Service has re-iterated that an ambulance was available to bring 2 year old Vakaris Martinaitis to hospital after he fell from a second storey window at his home in Midleton two weeks ago. Two experts from Ireland, and two from outside the jurisdiction, are examining the voice recording of the 999 call, as they try to establish what happened.
