RNLI assists yacht near Glandore

Union Hall RNLI went to the aid of a yacht with engine difficulty last night just after 9pm.
The volunteer lifeboat crew lauched within minutes and found the yacht half a mile outside Glandore with four people on board and towed it back to the pier.
The conditions at the time were calm with little or no wind.
Union Hall RNLI are reminding people to respect the water, especially during the fine weather and are encouraging people to always call for help if you see someone in difficulty on or near the water.
