Road closed following serious crash in West Cork
Emergency Services are on the scene of a serious collision in West Cork.
The single vehicle accident occured earlier this evening on the road between Skibbereen and Lough Hyne.
Two people have been taken to Bantry General Hospital but their condition is currently unknown.
Gardai have confirmed that the road will remain closed overnight in order to facilitate a technical examination.
This will affect traffic travelling to and from Lough Hyne, and local diversions have been put in place.
