Road Fatalities In Cork Are On The Rise

21 people have died on Cork roads across the city and county so far this year
Gardaí in Cork say everyone needs to play their part in reducing road fatalities in 2017.
It follows a year of carnage on the country's roads this year where almost 200 people lost their lives.
Road fatalities in Cork have almost doubled on last year's figures with 21 people killed on city and county roads this year compared to 12 in the same period last year
Speaking to RedFM News Sgt Peter Murphy of Angelsea Street Garda Station says a collective approach is needed to bring the figures down:
