Road Safety Authority Reminded To Be Cautious of Debris

Motorists are reminded to be aware of debris on the roads and to expect the unexpected.
The Road Safety Authority is advising all road users to take extreme care as Met Éireann has issued a yellow gale warning for strong winds and heavy rain for parts of the country including Cork today.
Windy conditions often cause objects to blow out on to traffic and cause vehicles to veer across the road.
Meanwhile frost will form tonight and will become sharp and severe, motorists are being advised that some stretches of road will be icy.
