Road upgrades expected to ease traffic gridlock in the city
The Capital Plan Review is expected to be released next month, with Cork set to enjoy a boost to roads funding.
Confirmation of the Cork/Limerick motorway, as well as upgrades to the Dunkettle Interchange are contained in the plan.
The Dunkettle Interchance is currently operating over capacity, with 100,000 vehicles using it every day.
Speaking to RedFM News, Senator Jerry Buttimer says peoples lives will be enhanced by the upgrades.
