Ronan O'Gara 'humbled and honoured' to be granted Freedom of Cork
Ronan O'Gara has tweeted to say he's 'very humbled and honoured', after councillors voted in favour of granting him the Freedom of Cork.
The move was confirmed at a meeting of the city council last night.
Thanks to the people of Cork who have always backed me. Proud of where I come from. Very humbled and honoured. ⚪️?⚪️???.

Ireland and Munster rugby's record points scorer is expected to be conferred with the honour at a ceremony later this year.
