RSA apologises to grieving Cork mum who had to fight for NCT report

The Road Safety Authority have intervened on behalf of a Cork mother, who had been seeking the NCT report on the car her daughter died in. Paula Murphy, from Farranree, says her daughter was driving a "deathtrap", and she wants the report as she which believes it could shed new light on the cause of the crash. Amanda O’Flaherty paid €600 for the car which Gardai found had defects in it's rear suspension which would have made it unstable before and during cornering. She contacted the Neil Prendeville Show yesterday and outlined how Amanda's car was deemed unroadworthy, following the crash in Cobh nearly two years ago which claimed her life. AUDIO: Speaking to RedFM News Brian Farrell of the RSA says as well as instructing the NCT to issue the report to Paula Murphy they have also apologised for any additional stress the delay has caused.
