RSA says an increase in Garda presence in Cork is having an impact on road safety Leeside

Nationally there's been an 18% increase in the number of drink-driving detections in the first half of this year
Meanwhile the number of drivers caught speeding is up 25% while those not wearing a seatbelt has risen by 8%.
It comes as the group issued a road safety warning as thousands take to the roads over the Bank Holiday weekend.
Two men have already lost their lives on our roads this weekend.
Speaking to RedFM News Communications Manager with the RSA Brian Farrell says a number of measures introduced this year are having an impact.
