Rural funding for North Cork from CLAR programme
Almost €180,000 euro has been allocated in funding for North Cork under the CLAR programme.
The investment programme provides funding for small infrastructural projects in rural areas.
Boherbue, Churchtown and Newmarket among others will all benefit with funding for schools and community centres to develop amenities for young people.
Some of the projects include installation of speed safety signs at schools, new pedestrian crossings and upgrades to playground facilities.
